Consortium

The consortium includes partners from France (Cemagref), Canada, Brazil, and a Southern Cone platform. Each of the participants will have specific tasks within the work packages leading or contributing to them in a collaborative perspective to ensure the dialogue between EU and Southern Cone players.
The consortium OTAG is compose by five different partners:

• Institut de recherche pour l'Ingénierie de l'Agriculture et de l'Environnement - Cemagref
• Centre de Coopération Internationale de Recherche Agronomique pour le développement - Cirad
• Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária - Embrapa
• Université de Laval
• Cooperative Program for the Technological Development of the Agro-food and Agroindustry in the Southern Cone - Procisur

The consortium will be tightly connected with ongoing projects addressing Food Quality and Safety issues. In particular, Cirad, as general coordinator of ALCUEFOOD, will serve as a gateway to ALCUEFOOD goals in Southern Cone countries facilitating the communication between partners and the dissemination of the results throughout the ALCUEFOOD network.
Other projects, such as PETER, will also benefit from this SSA in the sense that windows of opportunity will be open to such projects towards collaborative initiatives targeted to Southern Cone countries.
